About IP.SB

IP.SB is a free tool for looking up IP addresses and network information. Open the homepage and it shows your public IPv4 and IPv6 address, hostname, ISP, ASN, and approximate location. No sign-up, no apps, no cost.

What you can do

• See your own IP: your IPv4 and IPv6 address side by side, with connectivity, reverse DNS, ISP, ASN, and location.
• Look up any IP: country, city, ISP, ASN, network block, and reverse DNS for any IPv4 or IPv6 address.
• Resolve a domain: the IPv4 and IPv6 addresses a domain points to, with geolocation for each.
• Whois & RDAP: registration data for domains, IP addresses, CIDR blocks, and ASNs, via RDAP with a WHOIS fallback.
• Free API: plain-text, JSON, and JSONP endpoints for scripts and services.
• Request environment: the HTTP headers your browser sends, echoed back.

Where the data comes from

Geolocation comes from the MaxMind GeoIP databases, refreshed regularly. Location is an estimate, not a precise position. If your IP shows the wrong place, that data belongs to MaxMind, so send corrections to them. We cannot edit it for you. Registration data comes straight from the responsible RDAP and WHOIS servers at each registry and registrar.

Privacy

No accounts. No first-party tracking cookies. We never sell personal data. IP.SB processes your IP address for one reason: showing it to you is what the service is for. Read the Privacy Policy for the details.
