2. The Service

ip.sb is a free utility that shows your public IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, provides IP geolocation details (country, city, ISP, ASN, reverse DNS), and offers RDAP and WHOIS lookups for IP addresses, network blocks, autonomous system numbers, and domain names. A separate programmatic API is available at api.ip.sb.

3. Acceptable use

You may use the Service for lawful purposes only. You must not:

The Service applies automatic rate limits. Clients that repeatedly exceed them may be throttled or temporarily blocked without notice. We may permanently block clients that abuse the Service.

4. Data accuracy

Geolocation data is derived from third-party databases (including MaxMind GeoIP and IPinfo) and is provided for informational purposes only. It can be outdated or wrong. RDAP and WHOIS results are retrieved from the relevant registries and registrars and are reproduced as received. We make no representation that any of this data is accurate, complete, or current. To correct the geolocation of an IP address, contact MaxMind directly.

5. Third-party links

The Service links to third-party websites (for example, external tools and registrar pages). Those sites are not operated by us, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Show Corporation is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to one hundred US dollars (USD 100).

7. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page; the revision takes effect when posted. Continuing to use the Service after a revision means you accept it.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
